Refurbish, Upgrade and modernise the restaurant
The Brief
- Replace and modernise the shop front facade
- Relocation of bar counter
- Create a welcoming atmosphere whilst retaining the cultural identity
- Re-configure and ‘modernise’ the toilets
The Solution
- Environmentally-friendly use of bamboo panels to reflect the culture and mirrors to enhance the spatial experience
- New purpose-designed/built bar counter
- New lighting system which enables the client to create various scenes/atmosphere settings by varying levels of brightness, colour and ambience.
The Outcome
- The atmosphere was welcoming, use of mirrors provided the illusion of more space and liveliness.
- Reconfiguration of toilets provided the clients with additional storage space.
- Project was delivered on time for the opening ceremony
